iMediaShare 0.6.5 for Android is already listed at Android Market.
You can download the free beta and test image sharing between your Android based smartphone and PS3 or other connected media devices. This version does not support XBox 360 as the iPhone version does, but promises more and better functionality in near future.

Following the success of the iPhone version, which exceeded 200,000 downloads only in two months after the launch, we are now releasing iMediaShare for Android-based smartphones.
The first official beta version of iMediaShare for Android is already available for testing by a limited number of registered beta testers.
Due to some restrictions in Android OS 1.5, iMediaShare 0.6.3 currently doesn’t support sharing of multimedia content with XBox 360.
The requirement for the Android-based devices is the presence of Android OS 1.5 or higher.
Further versions of iMediaShare for Android will have the ability to share images, video and audio files, which will make the application a very useful tool.
Wanna test it?

The last version of iMediaShare Premium can be downloaded from Apple App Store.
1.0.4 solves some issues leading to “corrupted data” or “unsupported format” error messages on some devices.
In addition the new version provides auto-rotation of images taken with the iPhone sideways and also has the option to save Picasa username and password, so that the user does not have to write them every time.
Enjoy IMS Premium and stay alert for the upcoming video sharing option!

iMediaShare 1.0.3 is already listed at App Store.
The last version is more user friendly. It provides auto rotation of sideways taken iPhone images.
In addition 1.0.3 fixes some bugs concerning incorrect image size leading to “corrupted data” or “unsupported format” errors on some devices.
Enjoy the new iMediaShare and try out the Premium version.

While waiting the approval of 1.0.1, Apple surprised us with a fast reaction and approved 1.0.2 – iMediaShare Premium.
The Premium gives you the great option for sharing not just your iPhone images, but all your photos stored at Facebook, Flickr or Picasa.
The best part is that now it is much easier to share а number of pictures without selecting each one separately – select a Facebook or Picassa album, or Flickr set and all the photos go right on your TV screen.
The good news is that you can have Premium for $ 1.99 only.

Well, audio sharing is definitely the most meaningful application of the media sharing technology. And it works well on jailbroken phones ;)
To make it public, we need to solve two issues at hand:
- The access to the audio library of the phone – Currently there is no API for access to audio files and we will need Apple’s help and special permission for that. Special consideration for intellectual property rights should be made.
- The audio format – Most media clients (PS3 and XboX 360 including) do not support Apple’s audio format and we’ll need to make realtime audio transcoding to MP3.
With Android OS item 1 is not an issue :)

Wow! Surprisingly three weeks after initial launch we already exceeded 14,000 downloads per day!
This week we reached second place in the Top Free Photography apps list in App Store – second to Photoshop Mobile released 3 months ago :)
Many many thanks for the support guys! The application was launched only as a technology demo but we promise to quickly develop it further as long as you use it!
By the way Apple are currently featuring the app at the App Store home page! Many thanks! Let’s see if this improves are chances of launching audio sharing soon ;)

A couple of weeks after the submission the 0.9.1 version is available for free at Apple App Store.
The new version allows multiple image selection. Much better than the previous version, but still inconvenient if you want to share a whole album with 100 pics… brr
Stefan B
We submitted for approval the next version of iMediaShare with multiple image selection enabled. Whole album selection is not yet in the agenda in the discussions with our colleagues from Apple…
