iPhone/iPod Quick Start Guide

Download iMediaShare from the iTunes AppStore before using this Quick Start Guide.

Step 1

Tap on the iMediaShare icon.

A splash screen opens indicating that content sources are loading.

If your iPhone/iPod is in airplane mode or is not connected to a network you will be provided step-by-step instructions to connect.

Step 2

Tap the My Photos icon in the upper left corner of your screen to see all photo albums stored on your iPhone/iPod.

Step 3

Select an album to view thumbnails of all photos. Tapping on a photo will bring up a Play On prompt asking you to select a TV. The images will be displayed on the selected TV.

Note: Ensure that your TV (or other media device) is plugged into the home network. Consult the device user manual for instructions.

Note: If your device is not in the list tap the Others (Undetected) menu option and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4 - TV

On the Play On screen select a TV name. Your photos will be displayed on the TV screen.

iPhone ScreenYou can navigate album photos by tapping on the previous or next buttons at the bottom of the screen.

Note: If your device is not in the list tap the Others (Undetected) menu option and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4 - PlayStation 3

When the Play On prompt appears choose PlayStation 3 and an iMediaShare icon will appear in the photo section of your PlayStation 3 menu. You will also see the iMediaShare label in the Video and Music sections. Make sure you are in the corresponding media section - e.g. Photo if you plan to browse images.

When using a PlayStation 3 controller on-screen prompts will assist in locating your photos.

If iMediaShare is not automatically recognized by your PlayStation 3, verify that the media server option is enabled (Settings -> Network Settings -> Media Server), and also search for media servers manually - select Search for Media Servers from the corresponding media section.

Note: For best playback performance please ensure that your PlayStation 3 is WIRED and not WIRELESSLY connected.

Step 4 - Xbox360

When the Play On prompt pops up choose Xbox 360 and an iMediaShare icon will appear in the Media section, Picture Library of Xbox 360. You will also see the iMediaShare label in the Video Library and Music Library sections. Make sure you are in the right media section /Picture Library for playing images/.

When using an Xbox 360 controller on-screen prompts will assist in locating your photos.

Note: If you cannot see the iMediaShare label in the PlayStation 3/Xbox360 menu please ensure that your iPhone/iPod and PlayStation 3/Xbox360 are in the same local network. If the problem persists please contact iMediaShare Support Team.

Note: Videos recorded with the phone camera cannot be played on some TVs and game consoles.
